The DV900 Series DVR can be classfied as a Hybrid DVR. This is because it is compatible with MPX, Wireless, and IP security cameras. To connect MPX cameras, simply run the cameras Siamese BNC cable straight to the camera. Wireless cameras can also be easily added to this DVR by connecting the wireless camera's receiver to the BNC ports on the DVR. IP cameras, on the other hand, are a little more complicated.
Please see the diagrams below to learn how to add IP cameras to your MPX DVR.

Ultra HD security camera
The main reason to purchase a security camera is to capture useful evidence should an incident ever occur on your property. A 4K camera will do just that. 4K security cameras are capable of recording a 4K pixel resolution of 3840 × 2160 - that's 4× the amount of pixels of 1080p resolution. A foremost benefit of this higher resolution is that it allows for greater digital zooms while reviewing video. This means that details in the distance of the video will remain visible for longer as the digital zoom is applied.
Resolution | Frames Per Second (FPS) Per Channel | Pixels Per Frame (PPF) |
5MP | Super HD 2K | @15fps | 2592 x 1944 | (5,038,848 pixels) |
8MP | Ultra HD 4K | @7fps | 3840 |
